The first major snowstorm of 2021 is upon New Jersey and up to 24 inches could fall in parts of the Garden State before it’s over.

The nor’easter will bring strong winds, especially along the Jersey Shore, and could lead to coastal flooding as well as scattered power outages with travel expected to be significantly disrupted, forecasters say.

School districts around the state have announced closures, delayed openings and other schedule changes.

So how much snow will your town get in the next 48 hours?

Using data from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, we’ve created a map where you can see what to expect over the next 48 hours, based on the latest forecast from the National Weather Service.

Enter your town in the search bar to get an up-close look at your area. Then, press the play button to watch how and when the storm is forecast to overtake the region.
